Adjustable Recirculation Chimney
Under certain circumstances, you need to use an intake chimney with recirculation. To meet that demand, TPI-Polytechniek has added a new product to the range, the Adjustable Recirculation Chimney. This intake chimney comprises polyurethane (PU) chimney components, and is equipped with a flat PE cap. The high insulation capacity of the polyurethane prevents condensation. The outlet flange with a fan is adjustable, using aluminum adjusting rods. There is an adjusting flap with a (Belimo) control motor in the upper part. In the bottom part the fan is mounted and a diffuser plate. Adjusting the opening between the chimney parts, allows a choice of pure fresh (cold) air, warm air (from the housing) or a mixture of the two. It assures optimum ventilation under all circumstances. The recirculation chimney is available in 640 mm and 820 mm diameters.
The composition of the ventilation air is adjustable to suit the circumstances. In winter, with little ventilation and low temperatures, you close the adjusting flap above the fan, which will mean that the system will mainly recirculate air from within the house. In summer conditions, with maximum ventilation, you open the adjusting flap completely, which means that only fresh air comes into the housing. Adjusting the opening and the adjusting flap allows every possible level of fresh and indoor air combination.
The ventilation air spreads optimally over the interior space because the air blows onto the diffuser plate, and the animals never suffer a direct draught. These inlet chimneys are especially suitable for spaces with obstacles such as animal housing equipment. And these ARC chimneys are equally useful in animal housing with pop holes and/or equal pressure.
Just as all TPI-Polytechniek chimneys, you can use these recirculation chimneys with all the regular fan brands. The outstanding finishing details of these products include mesh on the outside that will prevent leaves and birds flying into the tube and sturdy adjustment buttons that are easy to operate. These chimneys are available in black and yellow.
