Wind Hoods & Light Traps

The TPI-Polytechniek wind hood ensures that the wind does not affect the function of the air inlets. It guarantees equal and constant air in-flow. They are made from high-quality UV stabilized ABS and can be mounted straight onto the outer wall of the stable. Accessories include a set of stainless steel suspension brackets that are easy to assemble and remove for cleaning.

The wind hoods are available for our most common models of air inlets and come in black as standard. Other colors are available upon request. Optionally you can have the light traps built-in the hoods and they can be used with wall inlets in poultry houses, pig houses, and any other livestock buildings, where conditioned lighting inside is needed. The material is weather-resistant.
